Simply put, yes, it very much is. Our bodies are inundated on the daily with junk. Pollution, EMF, chemicals, processed foods are all a part of our modern day culture. As many nutritionists and dietitians have started to attack the processed foods, and provide guides to improve what we intake, what do we do to improve the environment around us? EMF, or electromagnetic fields, has become more of a buzzword within the last couple of years, as our electronically operated society continues to advance. The latest and greatest gadgets, computers, wireless speakers, were absolutely inundated with exposure to technology daily.

The world is full of energy. People give off energy, or “vibes” as some folks like to call them. There’s frequencies given off for medical equipment to detect maladies of the body. Nature contains them as well in the way it’s a living thing. Living things all have energy. If that’s the case then whats the issue if it’s around us all the time? How can it be bad?

According to Dr. Erik Zielinski, D.C. in his book “The Essential Oils Apothecary,” he discusses how “EMFs are known to trigger oxidative stress on various tissues throughout the body and they can cause free radical damage to your cells.” This is true of breathing pollution, and extends into a variety of environmental exposure outlets.

So if you’re trying to live a clean healthy life, how does one support the body?

  1. Eat a healthy diet: Focus on a plant-based diet that is rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Include plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and nuts. Avoid processed foods, refined sugars, and unhealthy fats.
  2. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins from the body. Avoid sugary drinks and alcohol.
  3. Exercise regularly: Regular exercise can help to improve circulation, increase sweating, and promote the elimination of toxins from the body.
  4. Reduce stress: Chronic stress can contribute to toxic overload in the body. Practice stress-reducing techniques like meditation, deep breathing, or yoga.
  5. Limit exposure to toxins: Be mindful of the toxins in your environment, such as air pollution, pesticides, and chemicals. Choose organic produce, use natural cleaning products, and avoid smoking or exposure to second-hand smoke.
  6. Get enough sleep: A good night’s sleep is essential for detoxification and restoration of the body.
  7. Support liver function: The liver is the primary organ responsible for detoxification. Eat foods that support liver health, such as leafy greens, beets, carrots, and garlic.
  8. Consider detox supplements: Some supplements may help support the body’s natural detoxification processes. Consult a healthcare professional before taking any supplements.
  9. Use caution with medications: Be mindful of the potential side effects and toxic effects of medications. Follow your doctor’s instructions and report any adverse reactions.

Remember, reducing toxic load is a gradual process and requires a sustained effort over time. Incorporate these tips into your lifestyle and be patient with yourself! Change takes time!
